Yvonne Timson | CEO

A dynamic and highly accomplished CEO with over 20 years of senior leadership experience across the aged care, disability, and mental health sectors. Yvonne brings deep expertise in governance, strategy, and the strategic use of technology to drive efficiency in government‑funded services and deliver greater impact with finite resources. A passionate advocate for social justice, they champion social equity and foster a culture of autonomy for both staff and customers. Her leadership style emphasizes mentorship, fulfilment, and respect, driving measurable results while balancing sustainability with purpose‑driven service. Yvonne maintains a strong commitment to the sector through active involvement, advocacy, and collaboration, grounded in the belief that we are “better together.” Simultaneously Yvonne leads Fortis Consulting, providing services that promote diversity, inclusion, and culturally appropriate care across WA. Her commitment to creating inclusive work environments aligns with Fortis’ purpose to drive positive change, champion best practice and cultivate diversity as a catalyst for success. Her dual roles exemplify a versatile leader dedicated to ethical practice, social impact and empowering organisations and communities to thrive together.

Ian Thompson | Manager

Ian has worked with communities for many years, most recently with Aboriginal communities in the Wheatbelt and when providing mental health support for people from CALD backgrounds. He has been nationally engaged, supporting communities and individuals with NDIS concerns. He has a strong management and training background and a passion for working with people. He currently supports seniors at the Community Vision Woodvale Social centre through a virtual reality program and is a carer for family members living with dementia.

Nathan Illichmann | Lead Consultant

Nathan leads the delivery of the Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) program across Western Australia through Fortis Consulting, with a strong focus on program and project management. He is responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of initiatives that support aged care providers to deliver culturally safe and inclusive care for older Australians from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. In this role, Nathan manages multiple concurrent projects, including statewide training delivery, stakeholder engagement initiatives, resource development, and regional outreach programs. He works closely with government stakeholders, the PICAC Alliance, and service providers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic and funding objectives. Nathan brings a practical, delivery-focused approach, underpinned by experience in construction and project coordination. He has a strong track record of managing competing priorities, leading project outcomes independently, and building effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. His work is driven by accountability, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering measurable outcomes.

Amy Whitehead | Contract Coordinator

Bringing with her diverse administrative background, Amy possesses a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to managing contracts effectively. Her excellent communication skills enable her to collaborate seamlessly with both internal stakeholders and external clients and partners, ensuring smooth contract negotiations and implementations.
